We offer our Guests something ‘different’, a stay that is inherently “Yorkshire”.

Guests of all ages are greeted by our resident ponies as they walk through the Stable Yard to check-in.  A warm welcome awaits inside, with complimentary freshly baked cake and Yorkshire Tea or locally sourced coffee.

Our rooms are furnished with locally crafted English Oak furniture, by Beaver furniture and Robert Thompson’s Craftsmen (“Mouseman”).  We are fully licensed and all rooms have a fridge/mini bar with fresh milk and a selection of wines.  Enjoy an award winning breakfast prepared by a professional chef using local ingredients,  we offer an extensive menu.

We are in the small hamlet of Thimbleby, surrounded by the breathtaking countryside of the North York Moors National Park.  Guests can enjoy the stunning views and walk part of the famous Cleveland Way or visit the Yorkshire Coast and the charming North York Moors Railway.

The quaint village of Osmotherley is just over a mile away with pubs, cafe and village store.  Mount Grace Priory, the best preserved Carthusian House in England (managed by English Heritage), is only 3 miles away.

Woodlands Farm operates a strict non-smoking policy in all rooms and in certain outdoor areas such as the Stable Yard. We are sorry but we no longer accept pets.

Check-in is between 4pm-6pm and check-out is by 10:30am.
