Food and Drink

Since we opened Woodlands Farm, our breakfast has received some fantastic reviews and comments from Guests staying with us.  We have gradually grown our food offering following feedback from Guests and you can now pre-order packed lunches, whether it’s to take with you on a walk along The Cleveland Way or the Coast to Coast or to enjoy in your room.  We have recently introduced Yorkshire Platters and Yorkshire Cheeseboards too (to be pre-ordered), a great accompaniment to a bottle of wine from our Wine List!

In the Autumn 2019, we were delighted to launch ‘My Kitchen’ Cookery Experiences hosted/taught by Amy.  Before setting up Woodlands Farm, Amy worked as a Senior Course Tutor at Bettys Cookery School in Harrogate for 9 years (part of the Bettys Café Tearoom Business) where she developed and delivered Cookery courses to adults and children, ranging from knife skills to chocolate making.  Amy trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine in London.

My Kitchen offers both residential and non-residential Cookery Experiences with various themes using local produce.  We also invite local food and drink producers for talk and tastings too.

The Cookery Experiences are ideal for Guests looking for a short, half-day culinary experience whilst exploring Yorkshire and North York Moors National Park. For more information check out the My Kitchen webpage by using the drop-down menu (under Food & Drink).  We also have a separate Facebook, Twitter and Instagram account for My Kitchen too.
